LEARN HOW TO:- Examine artifacts to determine how the object is made, where it is stable/unstable and where it needs support for exhibition;
- Protect artifacts on exhibit from slippage or and other movement due to vibration or visitor movement, and theft;
- Choose the most appropriate materials for supporting and mounting artifacts on exhibit;
- Use or modify ready-made supports; and
- Design and construct custom mounts.
