Missouri State Archives Workshops
The Missouri State Archives, a division of the Office of Secretary of State Robin Carnahan, will offer free training workshops during January and February. These workshops are designed to teach individuals caring for the state’s past how to properly preserve and provide access to historical records.
Workshop participants are required to pre-register, and attendance is limited to 25 people. Anyone interested in registering for a workshop should call 573-522-9657.

Both workshops are offered as part of the Missouri Historical Records Grant Program (MHRGP), which provides funding and training for preservation and access projects throughout the state. The MHRGP is coordinated by the Missouri Historical Records Advisory Board (MHRAB), with financial support from the National Historical Publications and Records Commission (NHPRC). Anyone receiving funding from the MHRGP must attend a workshop, but others responsible for the care of Missouri’s original records are also encouraged to attend.
