MAMA Colleague Conversation: The Missouri State Archives and crowdsourcing transcription

Christina Miller will be joined by Ben and Sara Brumfield to discuss From the Page, a crowdsourcing transcription platform.  The Missouri State Archives recently began using From the Page as part of a project to develop ledger style transcriptions on the open source platform, allowing the archives to index census records, tax lists and land records.  From the Page has been used by libraries, archives and museums of all sizes to index diaries, medical ledgers, marriages, etc.  It is a great way to engage your volunteers remotely, while providing more access to the records in your collection.
